"Man is by nature a political animal"
- Aristotle in Politics
The Observer is a student-run publication at the University of Maryland that explores political culture. It specifically examines the intersections between political concepts and other fields of study, pursued by the undergraduate student-body, to cultivate an understanding and appreciation for political dialogue and its influences. We proudly employ a group of students with diverse backgrounds and academic interests to represent the various possibilities of civil discourse.
